Charleston Veterinary Referral Center is a 24 hour emergency and critical care center, and a referral specialty hospital located in Charleston, South Carolina. It is the only veterinary facility between Savannah and Myrtle Beach that fulfills all the criteria set by the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society to be called a true Emergency/ Critical Care Center.
A cohesive team of veterinary professionals and staff that are dedicated to practicing the highest caliber of medicine and surgery, CVRC believes that excellent patient care, and excellent client service are intertwined. The leadership of CVRC understands the need for a culture that embraces great communication.
“At Charleston Veterinary Referral Center, we believe that it is important to be concerned with how pet owners and referring veterinarians feel,” explains Dr. Alan Green, founder of CVRC. “We understand the deep emotions and connections between owners and their pets. These are truly family members and it is imperative for us to understand how upsetting and frightening it can be when a pet is ill or injured.”
The former owner and founder of Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center in Bedford Hills, New York, Dr. Green and his management team have a decade of experience in specialty and emergency medicine. “At KBVC, we had a staff of approximately 120 people. It was an amazing place, with a staff that was much like a large family, and a culture that understood the goals of great medicine and service.”
Our goal is to develop Charleston Veterinary Referral Center into the premier advanced-care veterinary center in the area. We are looking forward to working closely with referring veterinarians to provide the highest standards of medicine and service, giving pets the best chance to live longer, healthier lives.
