Dr. Tamulevicus graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Prior to attending veterinary school, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Muhlenberg College, followed by a Master of Science degree from Rutgers University. After graduating from Tufts, she did an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey, and then completed a three-year residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Kansas State University in 2008. Dr. Tamulevicus has practiced mostly in the Northeast, most recently practicing on Cape Cod. She has a strong interest in all aspects of internal medicine, with a particular interest in complex endocrinology cases including difficult diabetic cases. She also has a significant interest in various types of endoscopy – including upper and lower gastrointestinal and foreign body removal, rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy and airway sampling, and cystoscopy. The comfort level of her patients, as well as the involvement and understanding of the owners of those patients, is extremely important to her and is a priority in determining diagnostic and treatment planning.
Dr. Tamulevicus’ personal interests include kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, yoga, hiking, music, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. She and her husband share a busy household with five very active and loving cats – Chadwick, Rosalita, Cassandra, Eli, and William.
