Beth Tynan, DVM, DACVECC

Dr. Tynan graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Afterwards she completed a small animal rotating internship, followed by a year as an emergency clinician in North Carolina. She then moved to Monroeville, Pa for a specialty internship in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) which solidified her interest in this specialty. She completed a residency in small animal ECC at the University of Missouri and became board certified in 2014. She worked in Virginia Beach, Virginia after finishing her residency prior to moving to Charleston in 2018 to work at CVRC.

Dr. Tynan enjoys the full spectrum of emergency and critical care medicine, including treating primary emergency cases, referral cases, and hospitalized patients. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending time with her partner Eric and their two dogs (Sidney and Kessel) and amazing cat (Penny), watching hockey (particularly the Pittsburgh Penguins), and spending time outdoors – especially at the beach.
