Hailey Siegel, VMD
Growing up in Connecticut, I developed a lifelong appreciation for animals, inspired by my scruffy mutt, Rico Suave, and my event horse, Millie. This passion guided me to the University of Delaware, where I earned a degree in Pre-Veterinary Studies with a minor in Equine Science.
After completing my undergraduate education, I moved to Charleston and joined the Charleston Veterinary Referral Center as a rotating veterinary assistant. It was there that I discovered my enthusiasm for small animal emergency and specialty medicine, as well as my love for the Charleston community.
I went on to pursue my veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania, returning to Charleston following graduation to complete an Emergency Internship at the Charleston Veterinary Referral Center. I am now proud to serve as a full-time emergency veterinarian at the very hospital that first sparked my interest in this field.
Outside of work, I enjoy life in Charleston with my husband, our pitty, Roulette, and Millie. You can often find me at the beach, on the water, at the barn, trying new restaurants, or listening to live music.
