Dr. Whitney Walker is a dedicated and experienced veterinarian with a strong background in emergency medicine. Originally from Kentucky, just outside of Louisville, she earned her undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University, graduating with the Class of 2020.

Following veterinary school, Dr. Walker relocated to Mesa, Arizona, where she completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at a multi-specialty hospital, focusing primarily on emergency medicine. She then continued working in overnight emergency care for an additional 3.5 years, gaining extensive hands-on experience in critical and urgent cases.

With a desire to return to the South and enjoy coastal living, Dr. Walker made the move to Charleston, where she is excited to continue her veterinary career. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and breweries, reading, hiking with her two golden retrievers, Zuri and Weller, and paddleboarding.

Dr. Walker looks forward to becoming part of the Charleston community and providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families.
